Los Angeles 🎨

When you think of Los Angeles, it’s probably Hollywood, Venice beach palm trees, sunshine and traffic jams that come to mind. LA is all of that and more. There’s a patchwork of ethnic neighbourhoods from Koreatown to Olvera Street. It’s a city bursting with art as graffiti and murals decorate almost every corner of the city. There also a range of museums and art galleries from the spectacular Getty Center of art and architecture on the top of Los Angeles to the quirky Museum of Death.

Annecy 🏔️

Take a few days rest from skiing by spending time in the largest city of the Haute-Savoie region, Annecy. Highlights include the mountain spring feed Lake Annecy and the old town, with its cobbled streets and canals.

Tignes Les Brévières ⛷️

Situated at the bottom of the Tignes valley near the river, Les Brévières is connected to the Espace Killy ski area by gondola and chairlift. It’s a good alternative to staying in the bigger nearby resorts and is more picturesque and cheaper. Just make a note of what time the lifts and slopes close for the day otherwise it’s an expensive taxi ride back.
